  • Always eat slowly by chewing your food well as this helps in the digestion process thereby reducing our food intake.
  • Avoid taking water in between meals as they tend to impair your digestion process.  But drink at least 8 glasses of water per day.
  • Include a lot of fruits and vegetables in your diet.  Fruits and veggies with high water content will be an added advantage.



Also, try to be physically active yourself by following these simple steps. 


  • Use the staircase instead of lift.
  • Try to walk to nearby market or shop instead of using a two-wheeler or car.  If you own a cycle, you can peddle yourself to the market.  This is indeed a very good exercise.
  • Always enjoy while you exercise by playing soft music to prevent boredom.
  • Early morning walks are considered best for health.  Hence try to get up early for morning walks.
